Value football betting tips and predictions

Borussia Dortmund hosts PSV at the Signal Iduna Park in a second leg from the Champions League 1/8-finals. The first match in Eindhoven ended with a 1-1 draw so it’s an open tie. Let’s preview it in our value football betting tips and predictions.

It was an interesting first game at the Philips Stadion, but there was no winner after a 1-1 draw. PSV’s former star Donyell Malen opened the score for Dortmund while Luuk de Jong equalised after a well-executed penalty kick in the second half. Until the final whistle both teams had some chances to score a winner, but we didn’t see a third goal.

Most likely PSV’s head coach Peter Bosz won’t make big changes compared to the first match. Luuk de Jong will lead the attack and he shall be supported by Hirving Lozano and Johan Bakayoko on the wings. Players like Veerman and Tillman remain very important in midfield.

Borussia Dortmund’s manager Edin Terzic will rely on the many stars he has in attack. Niclas Fullkrug is expected to lead the attack once again while Sancho, Reus, Malen and Brandt are all options to support him from second position. Can and Sabitzer are expected to start once again in midfield.

Last weekend Borussia Dortmund fought for a difficult 2-1 win against Werder in Bremen. Malen and Sancho scored in the first half, but Werder returned one of the goals in the second half. Luckily for BVB, they managed to resist the pressure and kept the 4th place in the Bundesliga.

Marco Reus and Mats Hummels started from the bench against Werder. This could be a sign that Edin Terzic intends to use them against PSV on Wednesday.

These are the value football betting tips and predictions for the Champions League clash between Borussia Dortmund and PSV at the Signal Iduna Park. Good luck!
